How to Make Iced Matcha Lemondade AKA "The Empress"

Combine ice, matcha, water, lemon juice, mint and a dash of sumple syrup in a martini shaker or mason jar and shake well.  Strain over fresh ice. Share.

 

Iced Matcha Lemonade Recipe Tea 

 

INGREDIENTS

  • Gotcha Matcha 
  • fresh squeezed lemon juice

OPTIONAL

  • muddled mint
  • grated ginger
  • honey or maple syrup

PROCESS

Muddle mint in the bottom of a martini shaker. Add juice of half a lemon, 1 teaspoon Gotcha Matcha and 8 ounces fresh filtered water.

Add ice and shake well. Strain and pour over fresh ice.

For extra kick, try adding grated ginger or finishing with sparkling water. I even like to add a squeeze of lime, when I can get seasonal juicy ones.

Make it your own. Add fruit juices, fragrant leaves and any other flavors that taste good to you.
